Mutsumi Ogaki

Mutsumi Ogaki joined the Silicon Valley Japan Platform in September 2024, driven by a strong interest in fostering openness to new ideas and perspectives. With a focus on cross-cultural education, social movements, and community development, Mutsumi brings expertise in creating programs that bridge cultural and intellectual boundaries. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine. Since 2014, she has contributed to youth leadership development and U.S.-Japan exchange through the TOMODACHI Summer SoftBank Leadership Program. Now at SVJP, she is excited to expand her understanding of social innovation.
