Dr. Rob Reich, Professor of Social Ethics of Science and Technology at Stanford University and Senior Advisor to the American Institute for AI Safety (AISI) discussed the growing ethical and safety concerns surrounding AI development. He emphasized the need for stronger institutional frameworks and regulatory measures to ensure AI is designed to enhance human well-being. The session, moderated by Saima Hasan, Co-Chair of SVJP and Co-Founder of Evolution, offered insights into responsible AI development and its societal impact.

Vikash Gilja, Chief Science Officer at Paradromics, shared advancements in brain-computer interfaces aimed at restoring communication for patients with severe disabilities. In the second session, David Wrenn, CEO of SpinLaunch, unveiled revolutionary space launch technology, while Paritosh Malaviya, Chief Product and Strategy Officer of WarpX presented a cutting-edge AI platform designed to mimic and augment expert knowledge in various fields.
