Mutsumi Ogaki

Mutsumi Ogaki joined the Silicon Valley Japan Platform in September 2024, driven by a strong interest in fostering openness to new ideas and perspectives. With a focus on cross-cultural education, social movements, and community development, Mutsumi brings expertise in creating programs that bridge cultural and intellectual boundaries. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine. Since 2014, she has contributed to youth leadership development and U.S.-Japan exchange through the TOMODACHI Summer SoftBank Leadership Program. Now at SVJP, she is eager to deepen her understanding of social innovation, explore its implications, and contribute to its transformative impact.
