The 2020 U.S. Presidential Election: Outcome and Implications for U.S. – Japan Relations

The November 3rd U.S. presidential election is the most consequential in our lifetime.  President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden offer contrasting policy platforms with profoundly different implications for the future of the United States and the world, including Japan.

The Silicon Valley Japan Platform hosted their November monthly Benkyokai webinar: “The 2020 U.S. Presidential Election: Outcome and Implications for U.S.-Japan Relations”, where Representative Mark Takano, Congressman of the 41st District of California and Mr. Glen S. Fukushima, Senior Fellow of the Center for American Progress shared their insight. Moderating the session was Mr. Fred Katayama, Anchor and Producer, Reuters TV.
